The Omnos connector
In short
- Omnos is an iPhone app that shows your to-dos, habits, goals and projects, meals, training, calendar and the emails that need you.
- The connector lets your AI keep it up to date while you talk to it. Its address is https://getomnos.com/mcp.
- You sign in with your Omnos account. Your AI only ever sees and changes your own Omnos data.
- You need the Omnos iPhone app and an Omnos account.
Connecting
The easiest way is from the app: Settings, then Your AI, pick your AI, and follow the steps on the screen.
- Claude: add Omnos from Claude's connectors (or add a custom connector with the address https://getomnos.com/mcp), tap Connect, sign in to Omnos, and tap Allow.
- ChatGPT: on chatgpt.com, add a custom connector with the address https://getomnos.com/mcp and sign in to Omnos.
When you sign in, a page on getomnos.com asks whether to allow your AI. It shows the address you will be sent back to. Only tap Allow if you started the connection yourself, a moment ago.
Things to try
- "I had a chicken burrito bowl for lunch. Log it in Omnos."
- "Add 'Call the dentist' to my Omnos to-do list for tomorrow."
- "I'm planning a trip to Japan in April. Keep it as a project in Omnos: book flights, find a hotel, get a rail pass."
- "I want to save $5,000 by June and I'm at $1,200. Track it in Omnos."
- "What's on my day in Omnos?"
What your AI can do in Omnos
Looking things up never changes anything. Removing something is always its own command, marked as such, so your AI app can ask you first.
- To-dos: add, check off, reopen, move to another day, delete one or many (it shows what would go first), see a day, see what's coming up.
- Habits: log one, undo a log, add one, remove one, list them.
- Goals and projects: add a goal (a figure to reach or a habit to keep up) or a project with steps, record progress or tick off a step, rename or take off a step, fill in its page with a plan, milestones and the to-dos and habits that serve it, see how each is going, put one away.
- Food and training: log a meal with calories, protein, carbs and fat (your AI estimates them), fix or delete a meal, log or delete a strength workout, set daily targets, see a day's food and training.
- Calendar: add an event, which Omnos puts on your Apple Calendar the next time the app opens, cancel one it added, list them. Omnos does not show your AI the rest of your calendar.
- Inbox: put an email that needs you on the Inbox tab, with a suggested reply; remove one; record a summary of what was handled; list replies you approved in the app; mark one as sent. Omnos itself never reads your mailbox or sends email.
- Connection: check that the connection works.
Everything an AI adds is labelled with that AI in the app, and you can change or remove it there.
If something doesn't work
- Ask plainly, for example "Log this in Omnos".
- Check that Omnos is turned on for that chat in your AI's connector or tools settings.
- If your AI says the connection isn't active, connect it again from Settings, then Your AI, in the app.
- If your free week has ended and you have not subscribed, your AI is told Omnos is paused. Nothing you saved is lost.
