Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
The short version
- Omnos stores what you and your AI put into it: meals, workouts, to-dos, habits, goals and projects, calendar events, and email summaries and reply drafts.
- Any AI you connect can read and change all of it. That is the point of the app, and you can disconnect an AI at any time.
- We do not sell your information, show ads, track you across other apps or sites, or use what you store to train AI models.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from the app: Settings, then Delete my account.
1. Who we are
Omnos is an iPhone app, the website getomnos.com, and a connector that lets an AI assistant work with the app. It is made and run by Silas Apostol, an individual based in North Carolina, United States ("Omnos", "we", "us"). Silas Apostol is the party responsible for your information (the "controller" under European and UK law).
Questions or requests: support@getomnos.com.
2. What we store
Your account
- Sign in with Apple. Apple gives us an identifier for your account and an email address. If you choose "Hide My Email", we receive Apple's relay address instead of your real one. If Apple shares your first name, it stays on your phone to greet you and is not sent to our servers.
- Email and password, where that sign-in is offered. The password is stored only in hashed form by our sign-in provider. We cannot read it.
What you and your AI put in Omnos
- Meals: the name of what you ate, calories, protein, carbs and fat, the day and time, and whether it came from a photo. The photo itself is never sent to Omnos. Also your daily nutrition goals.
- Workouts: the lifts you or your AI log, such as the exercise, sets, reps and weight.
- To-dos: titles, notes, due days and times, and whether they are done.
- Habits: names, schedules, targets, and each day you checked one off.
- Goals and projects: the title, why it matters to you if you say, a figure to reach and each update to it, or a project's steps and which are done, a due date, a plan, milestones, an icon and color, the to-dos and habits linked to it, and a short history of each change and who made it (you or which AI).
- Calendar events your AI adds: title, day, time, length, location and notes. Omnos stores the event and then places it on your Apple Calendar.
- Email summaries and reply drafts: for each email your AI decides needs you, the sender, the subject, a short summary, a suggested action, and a draft reply if it wrote one. Also a daily count of how many emails your AI handled. See section 5.
- Which AI did what: each item an AI adds is labelled with that AI, so the app can show you.
- Settings, such as your time zone.
Your AI connections
- A label for each AI you connect, when it was connected, and when it last used Omnos.
- For an AI that connects by signing in: the name the AI gives itself, the web address it returns you to, and the sign-in tokens issued to it.
- For an AI that connects with a key: a scrambled (hashed) copy of the key. The key itself is shown to you once and is not stored. See section 6.
Apple Health
- What Omnos reads, with your permission: steps, active calories, exercise minutes, heart rate, walking, running, cycling and swimming distance, workouts, and sleep.
- Where it goes: this information is read on your iPhone and shown to you there. It is not sent to our servers and your AI cannot see it. One exception: if you set up a step-count habit, Omnos saves that you reached your target for the day (a check mark, not the step count).
- What Omnos writes, with your permission: the meals your AI logs (calories, protein, carbs and fat) are saved to Apple Health so your other apps can see them.
- Sleep. With your permission, Omnos reads sleep information from Apple Health, such as when you went to bed, when you woke, and how long you slept. It is shown only on your iPhone. Omnos does not upload it, and your connected AI cannot read it.
We never use Apple Health information for advertising or marketing, never sell it, and never give it to data brokers. It is shared only with the AIs you connect, and only as described above.
Apple Calendar
With your permission, Omnos reads your calendar on your iPhone to show your day. Your existing calendar events stay on your phone and are not sent to our servers. Events your AI adds are stored by Omnos (see above) and written to your Apple Calendar.
Technical information
When the app, your AI, or your browser talks to Omnos, our hosting providers record standard technical logs: IP address, time, the address requested, and the type of device or software. We use these to keep the service running and to stop abuse.
The launch list on our website
If you leave your email on getomnos.com, we store that email, the time, the website you arrived from (for example instagram.com), and the short tag on the link you followed, which tells us which of our posts brought you. We use the email only for Omnos: a few short updates before launch and an email when it is available. If you tick the box to test early, we also email you an invitation to try it before launch. Every email lets you unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove your email at any time.
What we do not collect
No advertising identifiers. No tracking across other apps or websites. No analytics or advertising software from other companies in the app or on the website. No contacts, no location, no photos, no microphone. The website does not set tracking cookies; the sign-in page keeps you signed in for that browser tab only.
3. How we use it
- To run Omnos: to show you your information in the app and its widgets, and to let the AIs you connect read and change it.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To manage your free week and your subscription.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To fix problems and to prevent abuse of the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use what you store in Omnos to train AI models.
4. Your AI can read and change your Omnos
Omnos works with AI assistants made by other companies, such as Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), and Muse (Meta). You choose which to connect.
- A connected AI can see your to-dos, habits, goals and projects, meals and nutrition goals, logged workouts, the calendar events it added, and your Omnos inbox. Your sleep information stays on your iPhone and is not available to your connected AI.
- A connected AI can add, change and remove those things when you ask it to.
- Whatever your AI reads from Omnos, and whatever you tell your AI, is held and used by that AI's company under its terms and privacy policy, not this one. That can include keeping your chats and, depending on your settings with that company, using them to improve its models. Check the settings and policy of the AI you use.
- We do not control those companies and are not responsible for what they do with information they receive.
Disconnecting. In the app, go to Settings, then Your AI, and disconnect any AI. It loses access right away. Information it already read may remain with that AI's company.
5. Email
Omnos never connects to your email account and never reads your mailbox. If you have given your AI access to your email, your AI reads it under the permission you gave that AI. Your AI then chooses what to send to Omnos: for emails that need you, the sender, subject, a summary, and a draft reply.
Summaries and drafts are written by your AI and may contain personal information about you and about the people who wrote to you. When you approve a draft in Omnos, your AI sends the reply from your own email account. Omnos does not send email on your behalf.
6. Keys and connector links
Some AIs connect with a link that contains a secret key instead of a sign-in. Treat that link like a password. Anyone who has it can read and change your Omnos until you turn the key off.
- Do not post the link or paste it anywhere public. If you paste it into an AI, that AI's company holds it under its own policy.
- We store only a scrambled copy of the key, so we cannot show it to you again.
- To turn a key off, go to Settings, then Your AI, and disconnect that AI. Making a new key for the same AI also turns off the old one.
7. Companies that handle information for us
| Company | What it does |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosts our database, sign-in system and server code. Everything described in section 2 is stored here. |
| Cloudflare | Hosts getomnos.com and carries traffic between your AI and Omnos. It also forwards email sent to our support address. |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions and billing, and TestFlight. We never see your card details. |
These companies process information on our instructions and under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or to protect Omnos against fraud and abuse. If Omnos is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy, and we will tell you first.
8. Where it is stored
Your information is stored on servers run by our providers, which may be in the United States and other countries. If you are outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in countries whose privacy laws may differ from yours.
9. How long we keep it
- We keep your information for as long as you have an account.
- If your free week or subscription ends, Omnos becomes read-only: you and your AI can still see everything, but nothing new is saved until you subscribe. Your information stays until you delete it or your account.
- When you delete your account, your account and everything in it is deleted from our live database right away. Any backup copies held by our providers are removed within 30 days. Technical logs are kept by our providers for a limited time.
- So that each person gets one free week, we keep a scrambled code made from your sign-in (it cannot be turned back into your Apple ID or email) and the date your free week ended. It holds nothing else and is kept after you delete your account.
- Launch-list emails are kept until we have told you Omnos is available, or until you ask us to remove yours.
10. Deleting your account and your choices
- Delete everything: in the app, go to Settings, then Delete my account. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Cannot use the app? Email support@getomnos.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
- Delete single items: remove any meal, workout, to-do, habit, goal or project, event or inbox item in the app, or ask your AI to.
- Disconnect an AI: Settings, then Your AI.
- Apple Health and Calendar: change what Omnos may read or write in your iPhone's Settings at any time.
- Subscription: cancel in your Apple account settings. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it with Apple as well.
- A copy of your information: email us and we will send it to you.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent you gave. To use any of these, email support@getomnos.com. We will answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request, and we may need to confirm it is really you.
Europe and the United Kingdom
We rely on these legal grounds: our contract with you, to provide Omnos; your consent, for health-related information such as meals, workouts and sleep, and for access to Apple Health and Calendar, which you can withdraw at any time; and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
United States
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Meals, workouts and sleep may count as "consumer health data" or "sensitive" information under some state laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act. We collect it only to provide the features you use, share it only with the AIs you connect and the companies in section 7, and you can withdraw consent or delete it at any time as described in section 10.
12. Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Each account's information is separated in the database so that one person cannot read another's. Keys are stored only in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
13. Children
Omnos is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 18, use Omnos only with a parent or guardian's permission. The AI you connect may set a higher minimum age. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Earlier versions are available on request.
